TAG Oil exhibiting at Mines and Money Hong Kong
"The Hong Kong Mines & Money show is a great place to increase TAG’s awareness and exposure, and to generate interest from the investment community in this part of the world, which is relatively close to where TAG operates," said a representative from Canadian-based oil and gas producer TAG.
The company, with shareholders primarily in North America region, specifically in Canada, is seeking to attract a broader investor audience at the show. "There is also a lot of interest about O&G in the region as the Asian markets have an insatiable demand for energy, to which TAG continues to supply high-quality oil, and receives premium pricing for," the TAG rep said.
During the five-day event from 24-28 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, more than 3,000 attendees from across the globe are expected, who will get a chance to hear Mines and Money Hong Kong's largest ever speaker line-up of investors and entrepreneurs.
TAG is a profitable oil and gas producer that holds prime development and exploration acreage in New Zealand with significant growth prospects. Last month, the company posted record production, revenues, cash flow and profits in its fiscal third quarter results, following the completion of extensive infrastructure upgrades.
Revenue for the three months to December 31 increased 19% to $12.9 million, while net income more than quadrupled compared to the prior year period. The company said at the time that its operating netbacks of $78 per barrel of oil during the latest period continue to be substantially higher than what is being achieved in North America.
TAG Oil (http://www.tagoil.com) is expected to grow production organically with its drill-ready prospect portfolio consisting of shallow Miocene low-risk development and step out wells, leveraging this cash flow into the high-impact deep Eocene wells in the Taranaki Basin and unconventional prospects in the East Coast Basin targeting the source rocks.
The oil and gas producer, which ended the latest period with over $71 million in working capital, is located at booth number E45 at Mines and Money Hong Kong 2014.
Aside from TAG Oil, others exhibitors this year include B2Gold (TSE:BTO), First Majestic Silver (TSE:FR), Fission Uranium (CVE:FCU), Mawson West (TSE:MWE), Pangolin Diamonds (CVE:PAN) and Western Potash (TSE:WPX), among others.
